The imagery in my recent work is sympathetic to an exploration of memory, desire, symbolic association, and transformation. My work advances by way of memory, often incorporating a physical presence and evoking a sense of mystery. I strive to imply layers of meaning that will involve the viewer and cause him to project his own emotion and reality onto the piece. My interest in poetry and literature often leads to the recounting of universal themes within the work. My technique involves a layering of various media, often incorporating collage into the works on paper.
