Art
is acknowledgement that there is more to life than what we see on the
surface. Our most insignificant action is a consequence of our perception
of the world around us. My goal as an artist is to strip away the things
which obscure our view. Subsequently, I hope my art will challenge the
viewer to see the world in a way not previously considered. I don't
believe in timelessness. I don't believe in universality. I don't believe
in religion. I don't believe in beauty or style. I don't believe in
tradition or monuments. I do believe there is truth. The materials and
methods I use are determined only by the concept of the work. I am not
interested in perfecting any art of construction. Similarly, I am not
interested in rehashing any singular idea ad nauseum. The only constant
I wish for my work is that it communicate the society I perceive.

Numb
is simply a collection of objects that produce an environment which
addresses a prevailing mood of numbness.
