Pulp Friction consists of a series of color photocopy collages. The collages in this body of work include images from women's magazines and true crime magazines from the 1940's through the 1960's. Medical photographs and illustrations are also used.

The work uses humor to examine the inegalitarian relationships between men and women, particularly, the issue of domestic abuse. While the work explores domestic violence, it can also be viewed as a metaphor for the unsavory relationships that often exist beweeen men and women. | ||||||||||
